Ingredients
Doughnuts
- 1½ cups Genesis Organic PNW Apple Juice
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- ¾ tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. apple pie spice
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Instructions
Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Whisk the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, apple pie spice, and salt together in a large bowl. Set aside.
In another mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter, egg, brown sugar, granulated sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together. Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients and pour in Genesis Organic PNW Apple Juice. Whisk everything together until smooth and combined.
Spray a doughnut pan with non-stick spray. Pour the batter into the donut cavities, filling about halfway. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let donuts cool for 2 minutes then transfer to a wire rack.
Combine the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow dish. Dip each doughnut into the cinnamon sugar.
Serve immediately or store in a dry place. Enjoy!
