- 7 oz puff pastry, can sub for crescent rolls
- 6 hot dogs
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 slice mozzarella cheese
- Toby’s Ranch Dressing & Dip
Let’s make a fun snack for Halloween! Gather all of the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Cut the puff pastry into 1/2 inch thick strips and wrap the hot dogs leaving an open slit of space on one end. Grease a baking dish with olive oil and line up the wrapped hot dogs. Bake them for 15 minutes, or until the puff pastry becomes golden brown.
Using a straw or a clean hole punch, punch out 12 small circles from the mozzarella slice, set aside. Dab two dots of ketchup on each hot dog where the slit of space is left by the puff pastry and place the mozzarella circles on each. Add another dab of ketchup on each eye to make the pupils.
Serve them with a ramekin of Toby’s Ranch Dressing & Dip. Serve and enjoy your spooky Halloween Hot Dog Mummies!
