Instructions
To begin preparing your Classic Beefy Cheeseburger with Jalapeño Ranch, gather all of the ingredients. In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck and sirloin and gently mix. Divide that into four equal portions and shape those into burger patties. Season both sides of the burger patties with salt and pepper, then refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Spread one tablespoon of butter among the four buns. Toast the buns in the pan until slightly crisp and golden brown. Set aside.
Remove the burgers from the fridge. Melt the remaining butter in the preheated pan. Then fry the burgers for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until a dark brown crust begins to form. This cooking time will achieve perfect juicy medium-cooked burgers. For those who prefer their burgers a little more well done, cook for about 5 to 6 minutes per side.
Turn off the heat. Top each burger with a slice of cheese and cover the skillet with a lid, allowing the cheese to melt for 2 to 3 minutes.
To build the burgers, add a patty to each toasted bun. Top with a slice of tomato, mustard or ketchup, pickles, red onion, and lettuce.
Spoon a hearty serving of Toby’s Jalapeño Ranch Dressing & Dip to each burger. Finally, place on the top bun.
Serve with fresh hot fries or side salad. Enjoy!
