Ingredients
Bang Bang Chicken
- 6 oz Chicken breast, chopped
- ½ cup Flour
- 1 Egg
- ½ cup Water
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- ½ tsp Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Chili paste
- ¼ cup Honey
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 2 tsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- ¼ cup Water
Fixings
- 4 cups White rice, cooked
- ½ cup Romaine, chopped
- ½ cup Cucumber, sliced
- ½ cup Red cabbage, shredded
- Toby’s Blue Cheese Dressing & Dip
- 1 Jalapeno, sliced
- Fresh chives, sliced
Instructions
Gather all ingredients. Preheat the air fryer to 400 F. In a large bowl combine flour, egg, water, olive oil, garlic powder, and salt & pepper. Mix well until batter is smooth. Add chicken and toss until fully coated.
In a shallow dish, bread the chicken then place in a greased air fryer basket. Cook in the air fryer at 380 F for 10 minutes, shaking halfway through, add time until crispy and golden. Set aside.
In a medium sized bowl, add chili paste, honey, sesame oil, sesame seeds, soy sauce, and water, whisk until combined. Add honey or water for desired consistency. Pour sauce over chicken and toss until well coated.
In two to four bowls, arrange a bed of white rice and a serving of chicken. Add lettuce, cucumber, red cabbage, and drizzle with Toby’s Blue Cheese Dressing & Dip. Top with sliced jalapeño and fresh chives.
