Ingredients
- 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp. grated onion
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup preferred oil for frying
- Toby’s Yogurt Ranch Dressing & Dip
Instructions
Gather all ingredients. Peel and slice potatoes. Then, finely grate the potatoes or run through the food processor with a grater attachment.
Pat the shredded potatoes dry and place in a medium bowl. Add egg, flour, onion, salt and pepper. Stir until fully combined.
Add a quarter inch of oil to a large skillet and heat over medium high heat. Place large scoops of potato mixture in the oil and fry 4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Plate the latkes and serve with Toby’s Yogurt Ranch Dressing & Dip. Enjoy your Savory Potato Latkes!
