- ⅔ cup milk, warm
- 1 tbsp instant dry yeast
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 2 ½ cups bread flour
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 Bottle Genesis Organic PNW Apple Juice
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ cup confectioners sugar
In a large bowl, combine milk, yeast, and sugar. Stir until the mixture starts to foam. Add salt, butter, and eggs. Then whisk until smooth. Slowly add in flour, then mix with a spatula for 1 minute until fully incorporated. Add more flour as needed.
Transfer dough to a lightly grease bowl and cover with a wet towel for 45 minutes. The dough should double in size. Knead dough 8 times, then roll out into a roughly ~15 x 12” rectangle.
Brush the dough with ⅓ cup softened butter. Combine and mix the brown sugar and cinnamon, then massage in the brown sugar & cinnamon mixture leaving an inch margin on the far end. Tightly roll the dough and cut off nine 1” pieces.
Arrange the rolls in a 9” round metal baking dish and cover with a damp towel for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 325 F. Then bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
Prepare the glaze by heating a skillet over medium high heat. Add in the Bottle of Genesis Organic PNW Apple Juice, vanilla extract, and butter. Mix until butter has melted, then slowly add in the confectioners sugar until the glaze becomes mostly opaque and thick. This should take about 5 minutes.
Remove rolls from oven and drizzle over with apple glaze, serve warm and enjoy your Apple Glazed Cinnamon Rolls!
