Ingredients
- 2 cups green beans, fresh
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp. parmesan cheese, shredded or grated
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
To begin preparing your Crispy Green Bean Fries, gather all of the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Wash the green beans and then trim the ends off.
Add the green beans to a bowl or dish and toss in flour to lightly coat.
In another dish, mix the panko bread crumbs with parmesan, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
In a shallow baking dish, add the egg and beat.
To bread the green beans, dip in the egg, then coat with the panko bread crumb mixture.
Coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray or a layer of parchment paper, then line the breaded green beans in a single layer across the pan. Be careful not to crowd the green beans or they will not get as crispy.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the coating begins to brown. Optional to flip the green beans halfway through cooking time.
